Tulsi tea, also known as Holy Basil or the Elixir of Life, is known for its adaptogenic benefits. When brewed, you’ll also love its light, minty top notes and earthy undertones.

Packed with Adaptogenic Goodness

The sacred Indian herb tulsi has been used in medicinal practices for centuries. In this blend, we combine 3 different types of the herb (Krishna, Rama, and Vana) to give you the widest spectrum of benefits possible.

Tulsi is in the basil family, but don’t expect your tea to taste like pesto. Instead, a brewed cup of tulsi tea imparts a light, almost minty taste that’s soothing to the soul and healing to the body.

Sourcing our Tulsi

We source all our organic tulsi from India. The freshly-sheared bundles give a minty, refreshing scent.

Tulsi is a unique herb native to Southeast Asia. It’s been used in Indian medicine for centuries. Practitioners use its fresh flowers to treat bronchitis, its leaves and seeds for malaria, and the essential oil to treat insect bites. And, most importantly here, its tea is used for its protective and regenerative qualities.

Ingredients

We believe that sometimes, the best tasting experience is also the simplest. Our organic tulsi tea contains no added ingredients or flavors – just 3 different types of adaptogenic tulsi.

That means when you sit down to enjoy a cup, you’ll be able to enjoy all the complexities and nuances of its pure, unadulterated preparation. The variety allows you to enjoy a wider spectrum of tulsi’s health benefits.

This also means it’s excellent for combining with other teas to customize the flavor and make it all your own. Add it to an existing tea blend for a twist on a classic. Or combine it with other herbs to create an uplifting experience all your own.

Health Benefits

Reduces Cholesterol and Aids Weight Loss
Tulsi reduces stressors to the metabolic system, which in turn helps with cholesterol and weight loss. Animal studies have linked tulsi to reduced bad cholesterol and increased good cholesterol.

Reduces Inflammation

Thanks to tulsi’s status as an adaptogen, it’s an anti-inflammatory and delivers a powerful dose of antioxidants. Inflammation can affect a wide range of health concerns, including arthritis, fibromyalgia, anxiety, and chronic stress.

Improves Digestive Health

Tulsi has protective properties for the stomach. It can help reverse the effects of ulcers brought on by stress. It also naturally increases your stomach’s resistance by decreasing stomach acid levels, increasing healthy mucus secretion and mucus cell production, and extending the life of those mucus cells. These are all necessary for healthy and comfortable digestion.
