Origin Of Earl Grey Tea

Earl Grey tea was named after former British Prime Minister Earl Charles Grey who was in office in the 1830’s. Earl grey (loose leaf) is a blend of various exquisite teas, and renowned for its numerous health benefits.

The tea boasts citrus flavor from the fragrant bergamot fruit to give it a pleasing and tasty aroma.

More than 200 years after the departure of the great Earl Grey, the tradition of the tea has been preserved by people who care about the planet and their health.

Our premium organic Earl Grey tea is prepared using the following ingredients:

Health Benefits Of Organic Grey Tea

Boosts Energy

A cup of organic Earl Grey tea can enhance your energy without any side effects. Earl Grey tea contains caffeine in safe proportions that can energize you and keep you active throughout the day. Unlike coffee, organic tea keeps you hydrated and ensures that essential vitamins and water soluble minerals in the body are maximized.

Improves Heart Health

Research has revealed that black tea and other variants of Earl Grey tea can have blood-pressure lowering effects. This helps lower or reduce the overall risk of cardiovascular diseases in people with hypertension.

Lowers Cholesterol Level

Multiple studies have shown that bergamot, an essential ingredient used in blending the tea, can lower LDL cholesterol (the bad cholesterol) and total cholesterol. Regulated levels of cholesterol can save your heart from plaque formation and improve blood flow.

Accelerates Weight Loss

While there’s no better alternative to regular physical activity and healthy diet to shed those extra pounds, Earl Grey tea can significantly improve your metabolism (breaking down of food) and accelerate weight loss. The citrus extract in the Earl Grey tea is believed to increase energy consumption and keep your metabolism in the balance which ultimately speeds up weight loss.
