We formulated our Christmas tea to enjoy during the holidays, but it’s a perfect addition to any cozy day inside. The warm spices, set against the familiar backdrop of classic black tea, are a timeless combination sure to put you in the mood to celebrate. It’s no wonder it’s one of our most popular teas.
May Your Teapot Be Merry and Bright
The mulling spices are the real star of this blend. Cinnamon and a well-balanced combination of other additions evoke holiday fun and good cheer. The cinnamon, orange peel, and other flavor notes pop even more against the familiar backbone of our full-bodied black tea.
Even though it was originally conceived to pair with the holiday season, it’s an excellent way to warm up any day of the year.

Health Benefits of Our Christmas Tea
Thanks to our Christmas tea’s robust blend of spices, you can reap the far-reaching benefits of a wide variety of herbs, in addition to the health benefits of black tea itself.
Rich in Antioxidants
Both black tea and cinnamon are high in antioxidants, including polyphenols. Polyphenols help remove free radicals in the body and decrease levels of cell damage. They also reduce a person’s risk of developing chronic disease.
Calms Indigestion
Peppermint has long been used to soothe an upset stomach. When sipped as a tea, it helps calm the stomach muscles and improves the flow of bile. This makes it an ideal (and delicious) quick fix to a sour stomach without needing to reach for medication.
Decreases Blood Sugar
In addition to improving insulin resistance, cinnamon can help lower blood sugar. It does this by decreasing the amount of glucose that can enter your bloodstream after a meal. By interfering with digestive enzymes, it slows the breakdown of carbohydrates in your digestive system.
Improves Liver Health
Cloves contain compounds that can assist in healthy liver function – more specifically, the compound eugenol. In animal studies, clove oil has been found to decrease oxidative stress and inflammation, contributing to overall proper liver function.
